  • Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which provides home weatherization to reduce energy cost.
  • Head Start and Early Head Start Programs which enroll children from low income families.

Q:How are Community Action Agencies funded?
A:Alabam's Community Action Agencies are supported by a mix of local, state, private and federal funds as well as volunteer and donated resources.  Federal funding includes: Community Services Block Grant and Alabama's earmarked General Fund allocation.
