REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: PUBLIC RELATIONS & MARKETING

The CAAA is seeking to retain a professional consultant to help the state association develop and implement a statewide marketing plan for the Alabama community action network and for the promotion of the "reinvestment and recovery" results achieved by the Alabama community action network with resources leveraged through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Information about the CAAA can be obtained through the organizational website at www.caaalabama.org .

The CAAA is seeking to advance a three phase plan that will include 1) the development of statewide media lists and databases for use by the CAAA (Short Term), 2) the branding of Alabama community action agencies on statewide, regional and local levels (Intermediate Term) and 3) the marketing of outcomes and results achieved by Alabama community action agencies making use of ARRA resources (Long Term). The statewide marketing plan proposal should target key community action stakeholders in the public sector, the private sector and the community sector. Proposals can be submitted for one or more phases of the plan separately or as a package. All consultant activity is to be completed by September 30, 2010.

Proposals should provide 1) a broad outline of a process for the completion of each phase of the plan, 2)total consultant costs and proposed payment schedule for each phase of the plan, 3)a projected timeline for completion of each phase of the plan, 4) an itemization of projected deliverables to be accomplished at each phase of the plan, 5) an itemized projection of need for input and time resources from the CAAA staff at each phase of the plan and 6) a brief consultant profile including an outline of professional experience, biographies of all principal consultant staff and certification of incorporation as business entity in the state of Alabama.
